Textile size and fiber polyvinyl alcohol binder, with very good adhesion and film-forming properties, cheap and high quality, mainly used for pulping pure polyester or polyester-cotton yarn, and sometimes used for pulping high counts together with acrylic size of pure cotton yarn. Polyvinyl alcohol is the main raw material of vinylon fiber, which is used to manufacture short fiber, long fiber, medium-strength and medium-modulus, high-strength and high-modulus, water-soluble fiber and other varieties. Among them, high-strength and high-modulus vinylon fibers are considered to be “green and environmentally friendly” high-tech materials.
